Sisters of the Fly visit Pinecrest!

Where ever the beautiful Sisters are, there are beautiful trailers too!
After a hearty french toast breakfast with Vermont maple syrup, the Sisters tour the park.

Sister Jayne Kennedy (a Pinecrest Dignitary) hosted the Sisters on the Fly at Pinecrest.

The Progess Continues!

     IT GETS KEEPS GETTING BETTER!
As the summer season at Pinecrest Resort approaches, so too does the excitement over the improvements at the Pool & Clubhouse!
All the soil, which was mostly clay, was excavated and replaced with stable soil to improve the longevity of the covered patio floor.
Much work was done to level and compress the new dirt to create the best conditions for the layer of concrete that is to come next.
The gap between the original clubhouse roof and the new roof will be enclosed to create a seamless transition.
Pictured here, the all-access bathroom at poolside, with wall base emerging from the floor. (General contractor John can be seen thru the open door following up with last minute details.)

This room in the clubhouse, previously unavailable to the public, will be transformed into a new lounge area with plans for a fireplace, sofas, and maybe even a piano! A great new place to gather with fellow Pinecresters on cold or rainy days!

Piano Anyone?

The new pool clubhouse at Pinecrest could probably use a funky, but playable upright piano for singing songs and having fun. If anyone knows of a piano looking for a new loving home, let us know.

Pinecrest Evolves

With the new construction around the pool and clubhouse almost complete, it is becoming very clear that Pinecrest Resort is evolving into a first class destination for vintage travel trailers (and those that love them) through out the U.S.!
The thoughtful choices and attention to detail, at every step of the process, from architect to general contractor, give this redefined space an integrity it somehow lacked before. As you will notice when you visit the site for the first time, the grandeur of the pool is now balanced quite nicely with the new architecture that surrounds it. And when standing beneath the great open aired building, you will find that the mountains in the distance are suddenly framed like never before.
Welcome to the new (truly improved) Pinecrest!

Pinecrest Progress Report

Progress continues!  Building materials are arriving, workers are working, new walls are going up! Everyday at Pinecrest big changes can be seen: huge earth moving machinery has arrived, big holes have been bored into the earth, and sculpted metal rings standby to be planted in the ground to give support to the gigantic new shade structure that will soon grace the Pinecrest landscape. Don't miss all the excitement! Be sure to visit the park during this construction phase to better appreciate the final product: a singular architectural feature that will enhance our Pinecrest community for many years to come.

Please post any new pictures you may take of the building as it develops at Pinecrest: For Members Only

Note above: The old roof has been removed and tar papered to prepare it for the new construction.

Pinecrest Club-house Improvements Underway!

Construction at the Pinecrest Clubhouse is Under Way! The fencing around the clubhouse has removed temporarily to make room for the new construction. In addition to the shade structures that have been discussed in the past, an additional bathroom is being added which will allow for greater handicap-access. Other improvements are slated for the interior of the building to make it more open and inviting with a more modern feel.
Stay tuned for further updates!
